Be on the lookout tomorrow Tuesday, April 6th! One critical need our school has had has been a mechanism to identify our volunteer needs and opportunities. We now have a mechanism in place and will be able to match volunteer needs with those who have a desire to volunteer at our school. We have identified the needs and created a form that shows the needs on a broad basis, broken out by elementary, middle and high school. Now, step two will occur tomorrow when the volunteer form will be sent home with the elementary students. An electronic version will be on the website for middle and high school students and for elementary families (in case the form is misplaced) by the end of the week. This information will be maintained in a database so that when a need arises we know who to call. This will allow us to plan ahead and be more organized. It will also enable us to make sure everyone who wants to help gets an opportunity and no one person or group will get burned out. There are all types of opportunities that can fit anyone's schedule and comfort level. Please complete the form and return it back to school as soon as possible. Our hope is to end this year strong and begin next year even stronger. Volunteers can truly make a difference; help us to build a community in our school that will set our school apart.
