CYRANO Tickets on Sale; Props and Costume Helpers Needed

 

Tickets for next week's APCS stage production of CYRANO DE BERGERAC are now available from Drama Club students. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for students. Be sure to mark Friday, April 23, on your calendar! The spaghetti dinner begins at 6:00 p.m., and the play gets underway at 6:40. Some tickets will be available at the door at the Summit Church, but advance purchases are recommended because seating is limited.

 

Here is a list of hand or stage props that are needed for the show:

 

One wooden broom (the quainter and older-looking the better)

Plastic food (joints of meat especially, but also fake fruit, pastries, etc.)

Two antique-style high-backed chairs (emphasis on plain style, with more wood than fabric showing)

Two quill pens

One inkwell

One wooden table (plain)

One lace handkerchief

 

The setting is Paris between 1640 and 1660 (Louis XIII and early Louis XIV), if that helps…

 

Volunteers are needed to help students backstage with their costumes.
