Hello ya`ll

    I would first like to start off by thanking everyone for turning out to the band meetings that happened recently. I hope that we can maintain that amount of participation in up coming events. We signed up many students this year a trend that I hope stays true for the years to come.

 

    On May 20 and 27 in the main band room at 6 pm, I will have representatives from Center Stage Music provide a presentation over the different instruments, the prices, and options either to rent, buy, or even rent-to-own. Even if your student has an instrument I would still encourage you to come out and take part in the meeting as we will be discussing the events and activities of next year. I would also like to discuss the formation of the band booster club. Band program faces many financial and logistical concerns. Having an organization such as a boosters program helps the program grow and be successful. Buying new instruments, scheduling volunteer work, and helping with or initiating fundraisers are some of the many activities and services the boosters could provide for your children's growth and success in the band program.

 

    I look forward to seeing everyone in the upcoming meetings. Know that you do not have to attend both of the meetings. Showing up to at least one will help out greatly.
