Senior Summer Reading Reminder

REMINDER FOR SENIORS: SUMMER READING



Mr. Jones has asked that Seniors be reminded to read Robert Louis Stevenson's novel THE MASTER OF BALLANTRAE by the time they return to Academics Plus for the fall semester. Classroom copies of the book (Modern Library edition) will be available on the first day of class.

Students wishing to purchase their own copies can order through Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble. The book is available for free online through Project Gutenberg:

http://www.gutenberg.org/dirs/etext97/blntr10.txt. Mr. Jones also recommends that students read the Wikipedia biographies of Robert Louis Stevenson and Bonnie Prince Charlie (Charles Edward Stuart) and "Google" information on Saranac Lake, New York, where the author began writing the novel.
