A note from Mrs. Pool...

As I see it, you have three choices this weekend. ("What's that, Mrs. Pool?")


One is to go to the central choral regional honor concerts this Saturday at 6:00 pm at the First Pentecostal Church in NLR.
or
Two is to go to the Region VI Jazz band honor concerts this Saturday at 3:00pm at Central High School in LR.
or
Three is to go to both of the above concerts.

They are BOTH FREE!! Academics Plus has a plethora of students representing us musically this weekend. Please go and support them!

("But, Mrs. Pool, I don't want to sit for an hour and listen to junior high and high school music, I'm too much of a musical elitist")

I can guarantee you that you will be impressed with the concerts this weekend. The central region is one of the most competitive in the state. The choral music you will hear will be easily at a college level! The jazz bands will be fabulous! The majority of the first high school jazz band is made up of all staters! AND we have TWO sitting at FIRST CHAIR!! TEDDY NGUYEN is first chair tenor one and KLAY RUTHERFORD is first chair bass!! THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THEY WILL HAVE SOLOS!!! DON'T MISS IT BEFORE THEY GRADUATE!!!
