Our supplies from the Bounty Make a Clean Difference program have arrived and we have rescheduled the Classroom Cleanup for Saturday March 5th starting at 9:00 am. If you can help us make Academics Plus shine even brighter please reply to this e-mail.


• The PTO is hosting a Staff Appreciation Ice Cream Social next Thursday the 24th. We already have bowls, spoons and ice cream, but are in need of toppings. Please e-mail Ashley Haynes at achaynes@sbcglobal.net to sign up. We also would love a volunteer to help set up both lounges that morning. Thank you for all of your support. The teachers really look forward to these events :)

• Don’t forget to send in your box tops with your students class name on the package. The class that collects the most by February 28th will win a great prize.

• Please keep using and reloading your Kroger cards. We receive 5% of everything that is loaded onto the card. If you don’t have one yet just send in your form and money to a classroom or office. The form is attached and can be found on the PTO page of the schools website www.academicsplus.org

• The PTO still has lots of car decals left. There are also a limited number of Falcon Fever t-shirts left in sizes child small to adult medium. You can get one by sending in your form and money to a classroom or office. The form is attached and can be found on the PTO page of the schools website www.academicsplus.org

• Just a reminder to return your intent to return form for each of your students no later than March 18th or you may email mica.lamb@academicsplus.org. If you have questions, please call Mica at 803-9730. This is essential to make sure your child’s spot is secured for the 2011/12 school year.

• The first of our new school signs is up and looks great. Thanks to everyone who helped us raise money for it by selling the Entertainment books and cookie dough. Once we are further along with the construction of the new building we will get the sign for the Elementary installed as well.
