Notification of Annual Meeting



Dear Membership,



The annual meeting for Pulaski Charter School, Inc. doing business as Academics Plus Charter School will be held on May 9, 2011 at 7:00p.m. in the Falcon’s Nest (School Cafeteria). The primary purpose for the annual meeting will be to finalize the election of the board of trustees.

To vote in the election you must be an eligible voter. An eligible voter is defined as a Member who has completed a voter registration form during the current school year and at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the annual meeting of the Members. Membership is open to all persons the age of eighteen (18) years or older who are interested in furtherance of the purposes of the Corporation and are one or more of the following:

(a) Any officer of Pulaski Charter School, Inc. (PCS).
(b) Employees of PCS who work at PCS at least thirty-two hours per week.
(c) Trustees of PCS.
(d) Parents, the legal guardians and custodians of a student(s) presently enrolled in a PCS school so long as the parents, legal guardians and custodians are registered with the school as the adult(s) responsible for the students(s).

To determine if you are a registered voter, please visit www.academicsplus.org click on “About Us” click on “Trustee Election” and open “Registered Voters.” If your name is not on the list, please return a copy of the enclosed registration form to school no later than April 11, 2011.

Two of the nine trustee positions will be decided during this year’s election process. If you are interested in becoming a candidate for trustee, please send your Biography to rob.mcgill@academicsplus.org no later than April 5, 2011. Thank you for being involved in this extremely important process. The trustees of our school are elected volunteers who determine the direction of our school. They are the leaders of the school and the voice of the membership.
