A Letter from the Executive Director

Dear Parents/Guardians,



We are very excited about the construction of the new elementary building. However some concerns have come forth about our student’s safety. We are experiencing some challenges in traffic flow during drop-off and pick-up times. Please arrive early so students are ready to learn by 8:00 a.m.

For safety reasons – please do not drop off or pick up students on any streets or in locations where they must cross the traffic/streets. If you park on or make a “U” turn on Lake Point Place, you may be issued a citation for “Careless and Prohibited Driving” from the Maumelle Police Department.

Elementary students and anyone eating breakfast - These students will go through the traffic line as they always have. The area for drop-off and pick-up is in the parking lot in front of the (F - blue) building. Enter the parking lot near the Falcon's Nest, but please do not drop them off until you come to the front of the parking lot near the protective shed.

High school students - These students will enter Lake Point Place and circle the (A - beige) building. The drop-off and pick-up area is located between the (A - beige) building and the playground.

When entering our school during drop-off and pick-up times please turn on Lake Point Drive from Edgewood Drive (between First Commercial Bank and the City Center) and then a left on Lake Point Place. If we have a long line of cars, this will allow cars to stack along Lake Point Place between U.S. Pizza and the new tennis courts. This should keep the line from backing up onto Edgewood Drive.
